The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
